➤ Bust: Stand naturally and wrap a soft measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of your bust, under your armpits. The tightness should allow you to insert a finger; this is a key indicator of the fit of your top.

➤ Waist: Stand upright with your stomach tucked in. Wrap a soft measuring tape horizontally around your waist, 2-3cm above your navel (at the narrowest point). This determines the fit of trousers and skirts.

➤ Hips: Stand with your feet together and wrap a soft measuring tape horizontally around the fullest part of your hips. A snug, comfortable fit without pressure will affect the comfort and shape of your bottoms.

➤ Shoulder Width: With your arms hanging naturally at your sides, measure the straight-line distance from the outer side of your left shoulder bone to the outer side of your right shoulder bone. This will help determine the fit of your top’s shoulder line. ➤ Garment Length: Lay the garment flat and measure from the midpoint of the back neckline to the bottom of the hem. This determines the overall coverage and proportion of the garment.

➤ Pant Length: For trousers, measure from the top of the waistband to the hem; for shorts, measure to the edge of the hem. This accommodates different trouser styles.

➤ Sleeve Length: With your arm hanging naturally, measure from the outer end of your shoulder bone to your wrist. This determines the appropriate sleeve length.

➤ Inseam: Measure from the lowest point of the crotch to the edge of the hem. This is a key reference point for how the trousers fit the legs.
